Today, the Spring Equinox ushers us into this new season. Since the Winter Solstice, the sun has been returning. On this day, we are invited into a place of balance as the day and night are equal in length.

God, our Creator, thank You for everything You gave us in winter. We thank You for the season of rest, clarity, and healing. We are grateful that what You began in us will continue to grow and blossom in this new season.

You are calling us into the rhythm of Your creation. Psalm 104:19 tells us that You made the moon to mark the seasons and the sun knows when to go down. In this season, let us come into a new balance with You, God. Give us divine understanding and wisdom as we journey through spring.  

You have said, “‘If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands,  I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit… (Leviticus 26:3-4)

We ask You to send us the rain and all that is required for this season. Let Your consideration bring growth in our personal lives as well as the natural world. We thank You for Your attention towards us.

Spring is a time of planting and revitalization. It is a time to strategize and look forward. In the natural seeds are sown, trees are planted, bushes are pruned, perennials are divided, projects are launched, and so much more. We invite You, God, to cultivate the atmosphere of our life in this season. May Your word, like rain, cause us to flourish. May the warmth of Your light cause us to blossom.

Welcome spring. Welcome this time of growth.
